Ms. Deedee
Miss Deedee began taekwondo during her last semester at UMBC. What began as something to do after classes turned into a passion. However, throughout this on-going journey, she discovered that Taekwondo made her very persistent and determined in her training. When a technique, new form, complicated kick was introduced, she practiced it over and over, even when it felt like she was failing, there was this will to keep going, to get better, to never giving up. Today she wants others to feel this same ability, to turn what could be discouragement into a drive for improvement through the means of taekwondo. She believes that encouragement and support are the key to bringing up the next generation of martial arts students to be confident. Miss Deedee is currently a third degree black belt in Taekwondo.
